God is more than enough! What a comforting and amazing truth!
Went for youth meeting yesterday.. Shiok, I just love Christian fellowship.. To bask amongst Christian brothers and sisters is something that I would give up almost everything for.. It is like a break for me, a break from the impure world, a break from the earthly stresses, pressure and desires, a break from being tempted everywhere I go, a break from my physical life to a place where I can grow spiritually.. Though few were present, and lost of a few familar ppl's presence, there was still warmth and fun in it. Well, thank God for the day eh?
The first sermon preached was a super powerful one. At first, I thought I would gain nothing from it. Because I always had trouble understanding and grasping what the speaker says when I listen a sermon on a radio or something.. However, the Lord grant me the ability to listen closely and to understand everything the speaker, Jim Berg was preaching. It became so clear to me as if it was him standing infront talking to me. Anw, the message was impacting because it really applys to me life.. I myself always worry about this and that, complain about this and that, fear about everything. But what the Lord wanted me to know was that He was more than enough! His grace was sufficient for me! Why should we worry about anything when the Lord is really more than enough for me. He provides wherever and whenever. If we were to follow closely to His will, I asked myself, how could He allow us to fall? After the message I have learnt to trust the Lord that He is truly more than enough for me and for everyone here! Amazing truth delivered in a powerful way to me! Thank God for it.
Well, we had fun singing, fellowshiping, playing table soccer, captains ball. At first the youths were not as enthu about the captains ball, but I guess after sometime, ppl started to stream down. Thats more like it ma.. heh..
On the way home, decided to waste my msges since I like 2 weeks nv use. So I keep asking Sandra questions. But i guess she was fed up.. heh..
Sis Joann just informed me that I had to make massive changes in my article, yikes.. I think I was giving too much a recount of the messages and the activities.. And I guess if I carry on, it would lead to a 3 page article.So I started all the way from the start, think I took about 1h plus to complete the draft. Well, pray that it would be good..
