hey guys, i'm back, in the midst of exams. no lah, i havent start yet. will start on friday.
well just a few things lah, i had the weirdest dream last night, or rather this morning. i had this kind of dream before. quite a few years back. it was three continuous dreams in between i woke up feeling so frightened. but three were the same kind. yesterday i just had a dream about haha, yea, the end of the world. Christ's return. the dream is like super weird wan, as in alot of things not what would happen when Christ return. but one thing that i told myself when i woke up from that dream is, i must win the lost! its true. in the dream i was desperately trying to reach out to my dad and my friends. wahh, it was so so difficult. and i was like super worried. i really wonder have we all been so caught up with our life, work seeking to satisfy our desire and forgot about our priority misson on earth. heard john vaughn's sermon on death and dedication. and how he preached abt paul's 1st mission journey. but the main thing is we are put here on one great comission, to preach the gospel and to make disciples. and even to the point of death, we must complete this mission. one wonderful truth i grasped is that God would never let anyone take away your life until you are supposed to die, as in don't worry if you are going to even lose your life to complete this great comission, God will never let you live on earth a second longer or earlier than He wills, and if you are to die for Him, you will. amazing truth huh? God really holds our lives in His hands, and nothing is able to snatch you from Him. oh sidetracked abit le,
well the dream was really really weird lah. as i said i was desperately trying to reach out to people only in the last few moments. are we going to make the same mistake? are we going to satisfy our own pleasure now? and when the time comes, we will feel so guilty for not reaching out to these people. so the first thing i thought of, literally the first thing was, that i should stop looking out for my own self but do the will of the Lord, complete my work on earth.
haha, wonder who ever dreams about Christ's second coming. i really wonder, are we to feel frightened, or happy leh. i'm quite scared by that thought frankly. but sometimes i cant help but feel happy when i am so depressed and hope God would just come right away. but un-saved souls really hold me back.
well, i guess God's timing is the best no one knows other then Him. guess we can do nothing but to look and wait upon His return, meanwhile, doing the best we can to reach out and tell the story so that when that day comes, we will rejoice with our loved ones instead of mourning over them.
