Lead Me To The Cross

Once upon a silent night
Jesus came to earth
Angels watched the wondrous sight
Singing of His birth
But one day the singing stopped
All was pain and lost
When the wicked took my Lord
And nailed Him to the cross

Lead me the cross Lord Jesus
Lead me to the place of death
Lead me in the way of suffering
Let me draw my final breath
Not my will but Thine, dear Father
Knowing You is worth the cost
Let me feel your ressurection power
Lead me to the cross

Every good and perfect gift
Falleth from above
Given from my Father's hand
Guided by His love
Still if I deserve the best
Jesus has for me
Daily I must take my cross
And go to calvary

Lead me the cross Lord Jesus
Lead me to the place of death
Lead me in the way of suffering
Let me draw my final breath
Not my will but Thine dear Father
Knowing You is worth the cost
Let me feel your ressurection power
Lead me to the cross..

This song is really lovely. I've just realised there was this song in a album called "The Spirit of Christmas". Only did I realise that not only the melody is so sweet, the words are of consecration and dedication to our Lord. I really love both the words and the music. I pray that as the music plays, you may meditate on these words and truly ask God to lead us to the cross!
Finish listening? Lovely ain't it? Anyway, after much consideration I've decided to try my best to get as many presents to my family and my friends for this Christmas. Its been a tough decision to make because I know that my family's financial state isnt very good and I myself had been spending too much, this year. SO its really a rush rush for me tomorrow. And just to think that I have 30 over cards to write, and considering the length of each letter. I aam not sure if I am able to complete it by then. SO, hmmm. I was quite worried and anxious, to the point of even being burdened to call upon the Lord's help in this matter. AFter thinking thinking and thinking of what I should get for pple. Something just struck me! I feel that its quite bad if people do buy presents for me but I on the other hand didnt, it was one reason I decided to fork out as much as I could to get the presents. But it suddenly dawned upon me how the person I owe the most wasnt any of the people I was about to give presents to, it was my LORD Jesus Christ! This gift of LOVE that He gave to me was much more than any of gifts I was to recieve. It was so precious. To think sometimes we can neglect Him and go on busy with our festive shopping. Enough talking. Let the lyrics of this song speak so much for itself.

I pray, earnestly and sincerly, that you may meditate on these words and truly think about what is gonna be our gift to our Lord, on His very own birthday.

O What Can I Give to Jesus

O what can I give to Jesus who gave Himself for me?
O how can I show my love for Him who died on Calvary?
I'll give my life to Jesus and calmly, gladly rest
Each future hope and fond desire upon His loving breast

I'll give my voice to Jesus and seek through all my days
My every talent consecrate to sing His joyous praise
I'll give my strength to Jesus,of head, of heart of will
Go where He sends and ever strive His purpose to fulfil

I'll give my all to Jesus tho little I posses
Take what I am and what i have, Dear Lord, accept and bless
O what can I give to Jesus who gave Himself for me?
I'll give my all to Jesus who died on Calvary.

I feel this is the very least we can give back to our Lord this Christmas! So instead of being busy over Christmas, keep yourself focus and prepared for Christmas. Think of what God gave to us, and let us think about what we ought to return to Him!
