Exams Finito

Thursday, October 12
Haha,

EXAMS FINITO!

All Praise and Thanks be to the God who has been wonderfully faithful in guiding and blessing me through this few weeks of mugging, studying and.. exam-ing! Im sooo grateful and thankful. The exams really came and left so quickly. Gone are the late nights, gone are the panic attacks, gone are the cramming of information. Im FREE! Haha, actually not la. To be honest, after my last paper today, while my class was screaming and literally jumping for joy. I was kinda numb to this end-of-exams-mood already. Im just glad its over.. and its time to move on. Err, exams has taught me of total depedance upon God becos I know I can never enter the examination hall without His blessings. And perhaphs I may now learn to be thankful and contented whatever the results be.

Haha, now that its over, kinda have to worry that I wouldnt be "redeeming the time" becos there indeed is an abundance of time! Well, I know my friends would be drowning themselves in endless hours of computer gaming, or partying themselves away, but nay, I cannot be like them. Sometimes I wonder why we have to bear the extra burden of worrying about the way we spend of time. Nonetheless, its worth it and we stil want every moment we spent, to count for Jesus. Truly, as the Bible says in proverbs. There are many plans in a man's hearts, Nevertheless, the Lord's counsel-- that will stand (Prov19:21) and A man's heart plans His ways but the Lord directs His steps (Prov 16:9). Guess it is also well reflected in this verse, "Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart" (Prov 21:2). So, its best still to be submitted under the leadership of the Lord, so that we wont merely be right in our own eyes, but pleasing in His sight.

Jim Elliot:

" 'He makes His ministers a flame of fire' Am I ignitible? God deliver me from the dread abestos of "other things". Saturate me with the oil of the Spirit that I may be a flame. But flae is transient, often short-lived. Canst thou bear this, my soul-- short life? In me there dwells the Spirit of the Great Short-Lived, whose zeal for God's house consumed Him.

'Make me Thy Fuel, Flame of God' "
