Hosea

Thursday, December 7
Sow for yourselves righteousness;
Reap in mercy;
Break up your fallow ground,
For it is time to seek the LORD,
Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.
You have plowed wickedness;
You have reaped iniquity,
You have eaten the fruit of lies,
Because you trusted in your own way,
In the multitude of your mighty men.
-Hosea 10:12-13

The book of Hosea is really an interesting book. Beautiful verses. (:

Guess what, I've finally finished reading the biography of Eric Henry Liddell!! (: In the past, I read the book till his olympic journey ended. But now after I stop running, I found it interesting to read on about this man who ran for that "incorruptable crown" and nothing else. Really inspiring. One who lived life with absolute surrender to God- guided by the Spirit in thought, word and deed. One whose struggles and experiences I can identify with. And one whose conviction and confidence in God I can look up to! Yet he is but man, and the only reason he shines, is because his life was Spirit-controlled, and Christ liveths in him! Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in the lives of His children.
