Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial like strains it unceasingly falls
O'er my soul like an infinte calm
Peace! Peace! Wonderful peace
Coming down from the Father above
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love.
"And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
Thank God I'm beginning to learn and understand, by His grace, what it means to say, "The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want." Peace came down when one becomes wholly independent of his circumstances and surroundings and be completely dependant upon God. May I now learn how to count it all joy when I fall into diverse trials and testings.
My hope is build on nothing less,
Than Jesus blood and righteouesness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus name.
