Finally got the chance to visit my grandfather today, after like 2 weeks? Cos I was busy with moving house and getting use to the new house and all. And... it was nice. I really thank God for my grandfather. He's been the sweetest and nicest grandfather one can ever ask for. And I consider him to be my like my own father. My grandfather takes care of me since I was a little boy. Today he was just telling me about how I used to cry whenever he brings me to kindergarden at PAP downstairs his house. I was quite embarrassed to be reminded of how I really was a "cry baby" in the past. But anw, I know my grandfather is... a traditional type of father, as in he wouldnt show much affection or care for his children in the past but love them as a sole bread winner and all. But ever since my grandmother passed on, he has changed and he has definitely shown great concerned for me and my siblings even though he still puts on a very strong manly front. But I know deep down he loves us dearly. I remember I always watch jackie chan hongkong martial arts film at his house and he will cook for me his "wan-wan mian" which is like fried noodles while watching "Yan can cook" LOL. Aye. I missed those days when life was simpler. When I was in primary school and even Sec 1 and Sec 2, I would always visit my grandfather either before or after school and spend my time at his house before going school/home. Now I hardly get the time to do so.. and even if I do, I'll be doing work all the way. So today was really nice, cos grandpa brought me to toapayoh central for tim sum for dinner and we managed to talk quite abit. (: No matter how close friends can be, family is still very important.

Grandpa always mention dad, who also is his son-in-law, as a really nice guy and I think he respects my dad alot as much as my dad respects grandpa alot. I think my dad's very similar to my grandfather. He shows concern and love no in a physical way, through words or anything, but mostly through actions and behind the scene kinda stuff. Like my dad would pay special attention when he gets up early to prepare breakfast for us, and at times wake up early to send us to school and all. Sometimes its easy to take them for granted cos the way they show concerned isnt that obvious? But yeah "Tian xia fu mu xin" huh?

Okay, I shall go study. Dedicated this post to my grandfather and my father LOL.
