Psalms 91
I memorised this Psalms cos I think it really encouraged me, generally, nothign specific.
Psalm 91
He who dwells the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress
My God, in Him I will trust"
Surely shall He deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence
He shall cover you with his feathers
And under His wings shall you take refuge
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night
Nor of the arrows by day
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness
Nor of the destruction that lie waste at noonday
Thousands may fall at you side
And ten thousands at your right hand
But they shall not come near you
Only with you eyes shall you look
And see the reward of the wicked
Because you have made the Lord, who is my Refuge
even the Most High your dwelling place
Therefore no evil shall befall you
Nor shall any plague come near you dwelling place
For He shall give His angels charge over you
To keep you in all your ways
With their hands they shall bear you up
Lest you dash your foot against a stone
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra
The young lion and sepert you shall trample underfoot
Because he has set his love upon Me,
therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high,
because He knows me by My name
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him
I will be with him in trouble
I will deliver him and honor him
With long life I will satisfy him
And show him My salvation
Beautiful beautiful Psalm talking about God's love and protection. Greatly encouraged.
Anyway I've been spending so much time with a few of my Cross team mates and I kinda enjoy their company, for whatever reason I dunno. Both the guys and the girls. I think they are a really nice bunch of people. (:
I've been talking alot recently too. Too much perhaps. But at times for the good and with the hope of edification and witnessing God's love and truth at times just nonsense. But I'm learning to really listen and care for people arnd me with needs and I think thats good.
But I've not been studying. I've been coming home late and doing stuff online. But studying I have not done so and feel a little guilty. I shall attempt to catch up soon.
I've been really nice these days too. Haha. when does someone ever say that. But sometimes at the expense of my own benefit. Lol, but thats good too.. cos I learn to give without expecting anything in return.
I've been rather patient these days too. Guess I'm still learning to wait on the Lord and trust Him to work?
I've been.. good I guess, spiritually it has been a little dry but still seeking the Lord each day. Knows I needa get in touch with my church ministry in case I get too carried off with school, dun worry. Shall attempt to adjust some priorities soon.
Okay its really late for me and I'm still up. Tmr's GP essay topic I will attempt would be a rather difficult one but I hope I can write well on it. Not depending so much on examples to back me up, more of it is because I have thought about this topic before and I feel capable to write. Topic is.. "Is conformity more important than individuality to the modern teenager" Lol.
I shall feature Nicholas foo on my blog again: Hi nicholas foo! :D He ties with Ernest Ng for the biggest male gossiper award. Lol. And if zakiyah ever comes about to read my blog, haha, "I'm nice! :D" and she totally agrees with that Lol.
